Releasenotes:
Monnom Black presents Legacy, an introspective journey through the
illustrious career of the legendary German electronic artist, Thomas P.
Heckmann. This momentous release marks the first time Heckmann curates a
comprehensive compilation, delving into all his various aliases and
timeless tracks, including Knarz, AGE, Heckmann, Skydiver, Spectral
Emotions, Purple Plejade, and the infamous DRAX, which commemorates its
30th anniversary this year.

"Legacy" encompasses a total of 23 tracks, 17 slated across three slabs of
vinyl with an additonal six digital bonuses, featuring the cream of
Heckmann's underground hits, such as "Himmel Und Hoelle," "Tanzmaschine,"
"Teufelswerk," and "EBM1," alongside lesser-known gems like "Chiswick
Days" and "Parnophelia."

Throughout his career, Heckmann has showcased his prowess across multiple
shades of electronic genres. However, it is his contributions to
Industrial, EBM-Techno, Acid, and Experimental that have propelled him to
notoriety. In 1994, Heckmann's acid-infused masterpiece, "Amphetamine" as
DRAX LTD. II, launched him into the global spotlight as a force to be
reckoned with.

Having released his latest studio album, "Body Music," in 2018 on Monnom
Black, Heckmann subsequently featured on The World of Monnom Black
compilations. Now, he returns to celebrate his groundbreaking
contributions to electronic music and enduring Legacy with this special
release.
