"Theme from Latex" was one of the first techno tracks I ever heard. Simple, fast, and fantastic, the track just continues to deliver the thumping beats and synth candy for its entire duration.

Fucking hell, what a tune; I love it as much today as I ever did. :)

The rest of this compilation is much more in the hardcore vein (which I can swing with, even if it's not one of my main genres). I particularly like Van Battle's classic "Spare Chicken." What a pounding, merciless, UNREMITTING tune! This one is heavy, hard, and thoroughly insane. I won't even try to describe it; just find "Spare Chicken," turn up the volume, and let the power consume you.

"Overdose" is outstanding, as well, though perhaps not quite on the level as the two tunes I just described.

Bottom line, Thomas Elers really delivered the goods with this album, and all these years later, I'm still rocking out!
